Josh Hazlewood ne Rajasthan Royals ke khilaaf M. Chinnaswamy Stadium mein dhamakedar bowling karke Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ko IPL 2025 mein pehli jeet dilayi – aur fans ka dil bhi jeet liya!
RCB ke liye 12.5 crore mein kharide gaye Hazlewood ne 4 wickets liye, jisme 19th over kaafi impactful raha – sirf 1 run diya aur 2 important wickets nikaale. Yeh over hi match ka turning point ban gaya.
Post-match presentation mein Player of the Match banne ke baad Hazlewood ne apni performance ka credit Sydney Sixers aur CSK jaise franchises ko diya. Unhone kaha ki T20 format ko samajhne ka unka safar wahin se start hua tha.
“Sabse pehle toh apni strengths pe tick rehna important hota hai. Mujhe pata tha ki yeh pitch par hard length ball hit karna mushkil hoga. Thoda mix-up – yorker, slower balls – aur unka right order mein use karna key tha,” Hazlewood ne bataya.
“Pehle Test aur ODI cricket ki wajah se T20 ka mauka nahi mila. Par Sydney Sixers, CSK aur ab RCB – in teeno teams ne mujhe format ko deeply samajhne ka chance diya. Har jagah se thoda-thoda seekha aur sab jod ke ek strategy banayi.”
RCB ne match 11 runs se jeeta aur ab points table mein third position</strong par hai – 9 matches mein 6 jeet ke saath. Gujarat Titans aur Delhi Capitals abhi number 1 aur 2 par hain.
