Sanju Samson Ki Injury: Rajasthan Royals Ke Liye Badi Chot
IPL 2025 ke 18th edition mein Rajasthan Royals (RR) ki shuruaat kuch khaas nahi rahi. Season ke pehle hi kuch matches mein unke regular captain aur star wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson ko abdominal injury ho gayi, jiski wajah se unka team se bahar rehna RR ke liye ek badi problem ban gaya.
Riyan Parag Ne Sambhali Command, Par Results Nahi Aaye
Samson ke na hone par Riyan Parag ne captaincy ka zimma uthaya, lekin team sirf ek hi match jeet payi — wo bhi Chennai Super Kings ke khilaaf. Jab Samson wapas aaye to kuch matches ke liye phir captaincy ki, lekin Delhi Capitals ke khilaaf Arun Jaitley Stadium mein khelte waqt unki chot dobara ubhar aayi.
Uske baad se wo Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), aur Gujarat Titans (GT) ke khilaaf matches mein nahi khel paaye. Team ka performance iss dauraan girta gaya, aur ab RR playoffs ki race mein tikne ke liye har match jeetna zaroori ho gaya hai.
“A player of his (Sanju Samson) calibre not being able to represent us, it’s difficult. You can’t really plan injuries, that’s just part of the game, we just have to try to move forward. For me, it’s just to be there till the end really and also not take it to the last over. In T20 cricket, it’s really easy to say you could just leave it till the end but I always believe if you can finish it in 15-16 and then go back to the hotel, that’s fine with me. It’s still a win at the end of the day. (On batting higher) There’s not a lot I could possibly say to that but I guess we’ll just wait and see how today goes”
